StrawberryCat PDF Presenter allows you to present slides in PDF format from your iPad using the VGA connector. Transitions from one slide to the next are nicely animated on both the projected screen and the presenter’s screen.
The projected screen shows only the current slide. The presenter’s screen looks like this:
The large slide at the top is the one which is currently projected. The smaller one in the lower-right is the next slide, which will become the current slide if tapped. The smallest preview in the lower-left is the previous slide, which again will become the current slide if tapped.
The slider at the bottom visually the current slide’s position in the presentation. If you drag the slider around it updates the iPad display as you drag it and updates the projected display when you let go, allowing for rapid navigation through a presentation without overly disturbing the audience.
The toolbar button at the top-left allows you to pick a new presentation; you can add your own from the File Sharing section in iTunes, by downloading them from your Dropbox within PDF Presenter, or by opening attachments from Mail. The button in the top-right allows you to adjust the projected image resolution when connected to a projector; by default the highest supported resolution is selected.
StrawberryCat PDF Presenter for iPad also supports the Apple Component AV and Composite AV connectors for connections to a television.
StrawberryCat PDF Presenter is available now on the iTunes App Store.
